Intuitive Scripting 2.0

Mastering Ink and Brush ~ 6 sessions

In this workshop I’ve chosen to dive deeper into the Tamashi or spirit scripting as an art form. This will serve to help you develop a deeper relationship with your scripting and to help you own it and make it yours. This is an important factor in the development of this art form.

I will take you through exercises designed to develop your symbols and to help you create some “rules” for their form and shape. Up until now Your scripting has probably taken on random nature and yet you may have noticed repeat patterns, a tendency towards certain types of marks or your own unique flare. Through this workshop you will master the movement and the dynamic flow of expression.

What can I say about my soul language? Many of you may have actually found me on a rock called "Intuitive Scripting"! This treasured mark-making technique of mine, which I often use in my art journaling, gel printing, and fine art, infuses your creations with a language born from a primordial space. It is a technique that gives modern humanity the opportunity to experience an ancient authenticity, similar to the painters who created the wonders in the caves of Lascaux.

In this Master Course we are going to go into the ethos of the process. This is something I have not shared before. Ethos is the foundation of this practice. We will touch on its important elements that include the breath, one's presence in time, and listening to what your creative spirit is yearning to share.

Intuitive Scripting is a very sacred practice that moves the user and viewer to activate non-verbal aspects of communication, thus causing one to focus on intuition as a valid source of sharing information.

The script opens the heart's vortex, causing the artist to experience a space of familiarity that stimulates "re-remembering", or what I like to call: sticky-notes from the future, present, and/or past self, and even from the self that lives beyond the idea of time. This process of memory stimulation opens other vortexes and will further the development of non-verbal communications, as well as the use of symbols to create full pictures as explanations and representations.

You will learn exercises and practices that will support you in connecting at a deep level. This is where you activate your story line, your personal journey. Your scripting will rise from within, ready to infuse your work in infinite ways.

About three decades ago I was studying traditional Kanji and sumi painting. Over time I started developing my own movement, and this beautiful rhythm of line I eventually termed Intuitive Scripting. I would sit back and reflect on my work, enthralled by the language that was speaking to me from the page, a special language like no other, yet one I could completely understand, even better than the words we use in traditional languages on a daily basis. I realized that I had activated something within me that is in collaboration and dialogue, so much more than just making marks on the paper.

In this Master Course, we will explore this space of collaboration and dialogue that gives rise to the movements that create your unique scripting language. You will learn to feel the "chi" at the end of the brush.

Once you master your scripting language, you will be able to infuse your art with something unreplicable. People often ask me how it is possible that I can just take a brush and script over a finished piece of art. Aren't I afraid that I will mess it up?

No.

This is because I know where this sacred movement comes from and I trust it wholeheartedly. This space of connection with one's scripting is my intention also for every student who participates in this master class.

Once you script from this space, you will never have to worry about your scripting looking like anyone else's. Just like your handwriting and fingerprints, it will be a unique, unrepeatable expression of you.

You will also know when to use your scripting. As you connect to this energy field, it will inform all of your art.

This series includes two pre recorded session and four live session replays.
